Shopping Time!
hello hello. after a long period of time, finally I decided to write a new post here, simply motivated by Cassandra Niki's book Letters, Stories and Dreams. Also, my IELTS teacher recommend this method to improve my writing skills.
I am in Singapore at the moment, staying in my cousin's apartment together with her younger sister and her mom in order to help her doing the housework etc. And because of the Singapore great sale period, I got an idea to shop around Orchard.
First thing I bought was a piece of beige cardigan for $29.90, instead of black one, considering how much dark clothes I have got already back home *wink*. Since then, I started to love pastel colours. Weird? Whatever :p
The next day, I went to Forever 21, Uniqlo and H&M and brought home 3 pieces of new tops and 1 grey denim that I have been admired for a long time. That time, I didn't think too much about the price. All I think is, I am on holiday and I deserved to buy something I would love to wear and fits perfectly on me.
However.
I curiously counted all the bills and I found out that I have spent around $140.00 for just ONE day shopping.
This is a bit disturbing for me, who rarely shops for clothing, and wear the same tops and shorts or jeans during the week. I usually spend my pocket money for meals during school days and sometimes, toiletries.
I've spent some of them for online shopping and ended regretting it, because some of the clothing I bought just does not fit on me. Am I too extravagant for this time? I started to feel guilty and thinking that I have done something wrong. Okay I know this is a little bit overwhelmed -.-
Later, I feel that is normal for me, all girls need shopping, right? And in this case, I deserved to shop once or twice for myself.
Should go somewhere new to shop tomorrow! Got to find something cheaper but still nice enough to wear. Hehehe.
